Baby is a 10-year old cat that’s living her twilight years as everyone should. The cat loves doing nothing more than taking naps and cuddling with her best buddy, a decorative rock. You read that right – Baby loves hanging out with her rock in the form of a cat and considers him her best buddy.

The senior cat was born without a tail, but that hasn’t impacted her life at all. She’s just like any other cat – she loves to sleep and lazy around, looking for new napping spots at home all day long. She loves taking naps in the backyard too, so there’s no place where she hasn’t put her head down.

A New Best Bud

A few months ago, Baby’s owners bought a decorative rock in the form of a cat. They love cats and found it cute, but couldn’t even imagine Baby would grow so fond of it. She loves it so much that not a day passes by without her cuddling with the rock outside. She sleeps by it every day, and ever since the pics went online, they’ve gone viral.

And who can blame people for liking that post? Just take a look at how much Baby loves her friend.

The world has become a cruel place where animals are constantly left alone by their owners. Even with babies! There are countless cases of mommas and their babies abandoned in a box (or worse). Two years ago, a momma cat with a litter of six were put inside a box and abandoned on Florida streets. The animals were rescued by Broward County Animal Care, whose representatives started looking for a foster home for the kittens immediately.

It didn’t take long for one of the staff members to fall in love with the kittens. Amanda Kruczynski took them all at home and everything was good.

The kittens were growing nicely and looked good. Among the litter, there was one which was obviously different than the rest – Meeseeks. This peculiar kitten was tinier than his brothers and sisters and didn’t move around much. What stood out most was his fur. The kitten has a felt-like texture that makes him look like a plush toy rather than a cat!

In the beginning, no one believed Amanda and her photos. People told her that they’re fake, but she knew the truth. Since Meeseeks was tinier than the rest of the bunch, Amanda paid special attention to it. With proper care, Meeseeks grew into a big boy and followed Amanda around the house.

A few weeks later, all the kittens fell sick with distemper, a fatal feline disease. Luckily, all of them survived, even the tiny fighter Meeseeks. After a few months, it was time for the kittens to be adopted. Eventually, Amanda found homes for all the kittens, but couldn’t give Meeseeks up. She decided to adopt him and she did it.

Even though all the kitties recovered from distemper, Meeseeks was smaller and less developed, so the kitten was still reeling weeks later. He started vomiting every day and worried Amanda pretty much. She took him to a vet where the tiny plush kitty was diagnosed with feline gastrointestinal eosinophilic sclerosing fibroplasia. Although it sounds pretty bad, the condition is actually manageable, so Meeseeks will live a normal life with Amanda.

As he grew bigger, his true personality emerged. The kitten may look like a plush toy, but he’s just as energetic as any other cat. He’s very attached to Amanda and loves nothing more than to play around with his mommy all day long.

Kittens with abnormal marks on their fur or face or those born with genetic conditions are rarely adopted or even helped. However, the calico we’ll talk more about today overcame all odds and found her long-lost sister from the same litter in this feel-good story of the day.

Some time ago, a litter of kittens was found outside wandering without their momma.  They were brought by good Samaritans to the Wrenn Rescues center. Every hoped that the kittens would be adopted. They were tiny, covered in dirt and fleas, and obviously malnourished. To put it simply, they were in bad shape.

But, fate has something in store for us all, and luckily, it had the best plans for this litter.

A Kitten with Rare Markings

One of the kittens that was clinging to life had unusual markings on her face. During the recovery period, the kitten was always cuddling with her sister Lorna. They were together the whole time, so it made sense for them to be put up for adoption as a pair.

When the kittens were out of the woods, they were transformed to a new foster home. At a month of age, their personalities began emerging from under the frail shell. The sisters were the sassiest mischief-makers and the cutest of the bunch. Their foster mom even built a special suite for their escapades.

Lora and AW had great attitude, just like small kittens do. Lorna was the princess, and AW was a bit rougher, but still cute and playful. As time passed, the dynamic duo grew into gorgeous cats. There were many people who wanted one or the other, but they could only get adopted in pair.

It took a while, but the duo found a perfect loving home after a few months. They are now renamed Miss Spark and Miss Forcible and are living the best life. Their new mom says that they’re two little rays of sunshine, inseparable in their new home just like they were from the first day.

Deformed kitties rarely get a chance for a normal life. Most people would never adopt a deformed cat, no matter how cute and cuddly it is. However, there are still people with a great heart, and that’s the kind of story we have for you today.

Anna Dickerson-Homan is a volunteer animal rescuer based in Higgins Lake, Michigan. One day while working at her farm, Anna found a kitten with bent paws in the barn. She had a brother with her and both were in need of help. The kittens were dirty and covered in fleas despite the obvious problem the smaller had with the bent paws.

Immediate Help

Anna wasted no time to help the kittens. She first put out food and water and they ate properly. Then it was time for a bath and some flea treatment. In the end, she put them on a soft cushion bed and they fell asleep at once.

Both kitties were born with Manx Syndrome. It’s a difficult condition in which kittens are born without a tail and with spinal defects. Despite the bent paws, however, Lisa the tabby was just as happy as any other cat.

After a good night of sleep, Lisa and her brother were completely different cats in the morning. They started playing and running around, obviously happy that someone took care of them. Lisa let nothing stop her. Her legs may be bent, but she’s got the spirit of a healthy cat.

She follows her brother everywhere around the home and amazed Anna with her resolve. Her foster mom took her to the vet for treatment on the bent paws. Day by day and week after week, she overcame all hurdles like a champ.

The brother and sister are having a great time in their foster home and doing great so far. They will soon be adopted, and we hope they find a loving home – they truly deserve it.

Stray cats like nothing more than to find a loving home where they can live safely. It’s too dangerous outside, but sadly, thousands of cats end up living their full life on the streets. Not this one, however.

Alice McColl noticed a cat hanging around the neighborhood and decided to put food and water outside so it can eat. A few days later, the cat came back with two kittens. Alice was heartbroken seeing the mom and babies living outside. She decided to call a shelter for help, but until they arrived, only one kitten remained. The mother and other kitten went missing and Alice never saw them again.

Left Alone

At that point, she knew that the kitten needed all the help it can get. She continued caring for it and it found a home on her porch. Alice had another cat at home, Otley, so she couldn’t take it in. One day while Otley was outside, she spotted the kitten. It was scared at first, but then started following the cat wherever he went.

Otley didn’t seem to mind at all. As a matter of fact, he enjoyed the company. In just a short time, Otley befriended the poor kitty, and Alice picked it up home. After a session of cleaning and a plate of food and water, the kitten fell asleep. Alice named it Birdie, and it was happy to be home.

Birdie grew quickly and has been Otley’s shadow since the beginning. She simply adores him and he loves the attention. Otley has taken the big brother role seriously, showering the kitten with love every day.

Goodbyes are always painful, even when they are for the best. The video below shares such a moment of a heartbreaking goodbye between a Stafford pup and his best friend cat. Elvis the Stafford and Cheerio the cat formed a strong bond after the cat was adopted. Their owner, Corrinne Minnard, says that the two were inseparable every day.

Elvis was part of a litter from the family’s show dogs when Cheerio was brought home. As soon as he learned to walk, Elvis hit it off with the cat, and they’ve been best buds since. Out of the nine puppies in the litter, Elvis was the last to get a new home.

Before he was adopted, Corrinne let Elvis and Cheerio hang out one last time. The duo had the time of their life and a cute, yet a bit heartbreaking farewell. We’re just happy that this is a goodbye for the best, and we’re sure Cheerio will find a new best bud quickly.

In just one day, Adam Laigo’s life changed forever. He had actually always wanted a pet, however, didn’t expect to get one in such an unexpected way. During a game night with some friends, they spotted a stray cat trying to get inside the apartment. The cat got a bit scared and ran away, however, Adam tried to encourage her with food to come back into the apartment. He decided to give her a can of tuna and she finished all of it. She then decided to cuddle up next to Adam to repay his kindness.

Turns out, no one was looking for this cat and she didn’t have a microchip, and so, Adam decided to adopt her. Adam named her Tuna and she has been sleeping in Adam’s bed ever since that first night. Adam had her seen by a vet and has been living with this playful and affectionate cat ever since.

So, you see – It’s true what they say about cats – we don’t choose them, they choose us!

Two sanitation workers were just working their normal route clearing trash bins around a neighborhood. Suddenly, the two men heard a sharp yet faint meow. It came from inside the pile of trash in the truck but at first, the men couldn’t find anything.

Both of them were scratching their hands to figure out just how to save it. And so, they began clearing the corners of the truck out, but still no kitten.

Two weren’t enough – the pair needed to enlist the help of a 3rd colleague to help locate the buried kitten. A shovel and a broom were also used to help navigate the 5-ton heap of trash.

They took in upwards of 30 minutes to rescue the kitten – it was a tremendous team effort but they finally got to the poor soul!

The three men then proceeded to send the kitten to a local animal shelter nearby for a good bath and meal.

The kitten slowly began to regain its strength and health back!

This lucky kitty was instantly adopted by one of the staff working at a shelter and is now happily living with his new human in a loving forever home!

Phoenix and Ash were two kittens that were rescued during the wild fires which took place in Concow, California. Phoenix was always close to his brother’s side, covering him as if he was shielding him from harm. These two adorable kittens were with their cat mom when they were found by rescuers, however, while the rescue team were approaching the wood burning stove they were hiding in, the mom cat ran away. The kittens were so terribly frightened and cold but yet, they managed to keep each other alive until help arrived.

The two were absolutely inseparable and would cry for each other when they weren’t together. Later on, they were bought to the Fieldhaven Feline Center by their rescuers where they treated and fed them. Phoenix had some burns on his paws and had lost all his whiskers, all through their terrible ordeal he had protected his brother and made sure he was unharmed. Now in the care of the rescue team, he could then finally relax and begin to heal himself. Throughout this horrible experience and at the rescue center, Phoenix never left his brother’s side.

They are hoping that soon the two will be reunited with their mother.

Cats love plushies and they love their humans too. They are not typically attracted to other things, sometimes not even cats. However, one viral sensation cat, Ozzy, really likes fruits. You read that right. He first became a web celebrity years ago for his love of peaches, and as it turns out, he has followers of his ‘cult’.

A Big Fruitie Fan

A few years ago, the Internet was blessed with Ozzy, a peach loving cat who impressed everyone with his peach antics. Years later, the Internet has a new fruitie hero in Remus. A 10-year old cat who loves fruits too, Remus is strangely attracted to strawberries. His passion was discovered by his owner after seeing the cat being obsessed with a carton of strawberries one day.

It wasn’t a fad too. He couldn’t wait to open it up, but before that, his owner asked her veterinarian sister if the fruit is OK for kittens. She got a positive answer, and Remus met strawberries for the first time. He didn’t eat them, though. The cat just likes to play with strawberries, cuddling all day with the fruit while playing with them as well.

According to science, strawberries are related to catnip. They might have a similar effect on cats, and that’s probably the reason for Remus’ obsession with them. Whatever the reason is, we love seeing him play with strawberries. Who can blame him when they’re so sweet?

One day, a stray kitten arrived at a doorstep meowing for some help.

The poor thing was tired, hungry and very scared. Not used to being in the company of humans, she was desperately trying to hide herself away but obviously needed some help. And so, a kind lady tried to gain the kitten’s trust.

It took just a few hours but with a little love and patience, the kitten began to approach the lady, and as she had no food to feed her she gave her some water and the kitten eagerly went ahead and drank.

A bond was truly forming between the kitten and the lady. Be sure to watch their inspiring story in the video just below.

Philadelphia Zoo has got an exciting addition to the existing zoo members. These are none other than little adorable black footed kittens. They have already captured everyone’s hearts. You just have to catch a look and you will agree with us that they are the most adorable ones in the entire zoo.

These cats are not known to be social and are the smallest ones among the tribe of wild cats.

The black spotted cats are mostly feline and take shelter in warm places during the day.

The three cats like to stay away from the public and only recently made their appearance at the zoo.

Viserion and Drogon are the males, while Rhaegal is female.

The Philadelphia Zoo has shared some beautiful pictures of these wild cats and they are everyone’s favourite already.

So if you are visiting the Philly’s Zoo, don’t forget to get clicked with these cute feline creatures. They are a must watch at the zoo and the main attraction after they were brought in.
