To say that the life of stray animals is tough is an understatement. Being constantly on the search for food and shelter is demanding and stressful, and it gets almost impossible when the winter comes. A lot of stray animals don’t make it through the freezing temperatures. Some of them are extremely lucky, and they run into humans who are willing and eager to help them.
The staff at a bus station in the city of Curitiba in southern Brazil couldn’t watch the three stray dogs freezing outside, so they welcomed them in, and the story is now viral. And it should be.
The dogs finally had the chance to be warm, and with plenty of food and water, it must have seemed like a vacation for them.
This kind gesture was shared with the public by a local politician called Fabiane Rosa. When she spotted those cute dogs, all covered in blankets, she couldn’t help it but share on Facebook, along with praises for the thoughtful employees who are helping animals in need.
Fabiane wrote, “Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be. So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them.”
“We must understand that this world is not a privilege of humans. God created animals to teach us to love unconditionally,” she concluded.
