Stray Dog Hiding In Sewer Tunnel Got Rescued Emotionally

Being stray animals is always difficult, especially when the weather gets bad and they have no home to shelter from such harsh conditions. Have you ever wondered where they head for when it rains, or snows?

The little dog in this story had been living in a sewer tunnel with another dog, until a rainstorm took his friend away. He was left there, alone and frightened.

Thankfully, someone informed Hope For Paws about his hopeless situation. The organization’s founder Eldad Hagar immediately got on the road to save the poor dog from the dangerous river. With the help of Rescue From The Hart’s founder Annie Hart, Eldad quickly spotted the pooch lying helplessly in the dark.

However, things didn’t go easy on Eldad and Annie. Seeing them approaching, the scared dog immediately turned back into the tunnel. He kept running deeper and deeper, until he faced the dead end.

Apparently Eldad had a hard time chasing the dog, obviously he was always on high alert due to the tough days on the streets. Eldad tried to put a leash on the pitiful boy, but he found ways to avoid it. Seriously, his reaction could break anyone’s heart.

That’s when Eldad decided to take it slow. He came to the dog who was hiding behind a chair, petted him gently, comforted him with all the sweet words. This man is truly an amazing dog whisperer.

“Let’s go home,” he said.

Finally, the dog calmed down. Eldad could easily take him out this time. The two were greeted by Annie, who already prepared a green towel to help the small dog clean his paws. After Eldad’s effort, he seemed to trust Annie in an instant.

The homeless dog’s heart must be warmed up by these kind humans.
