A Dog Saves The Life Of A Baby Girl Who Has Stopped Breathing In The Middle Of The Night

A dog in the house is always a blessing: they are not only lovely and loyal friends, but they may also save your life. We’ve heard stories about dogs protecting their owners or alerting them to danger.

One lady is now hailing her dog as a hero for saving her baby’s life by notifying the parents in time after the youngster stopped breathing.

Kelly Andrew of Boston, Massachusetts, has a Boston terrier named Henry. Recently, the dog began behaving strangely in the middle of the night, entering into their nursery and awakening Kelly’s baby.

Kelly claims she grew “tired” of her dog’s conduct, especially since the baby was unwell.

But she soon realized her kid wasn’t breathing.

Her daughter was transported to the hospital, and Kelly understood Henry wasn’t raising a commotion, but rather was attempting to save the baby’s life.

Something was awry, the dog sensed instantly. Henry very certainly saved the infant’s life by keeping the baby awake and alerting the parents, allowing her to seek medical attention before it was too late.

“I’m not sure what would have happened if he hadn’t woken her,” Kelly tweeted. “We don’t deserve to have dogs.”

According to the mother, the infant spent the night in the hospital and is now “doing much better.”

Kelly also claims that her loyal dog Henry “bravely held the fort all night despite his fear of the dark.”

She also commended the Connecticut Children’s Hospital ER staff for being “actual heroes” in assisting her daughter.

But it was good dog Henry who received the most attention as the tale spread. People were astounded by the dog’s intuition, and several even recounted similar instances, demonstrating how life-saving canines can be… even when it appears to be terrible dog behavior.

“For the longest time, we couldn’t figure out why my service dog was going into my parents’ room multiple times a night sniffing my dad’s face and prodding him constantly,” one lady responded. “They always pushed her away, yet she kept coming back.” She came to a halt as soon as he received his pacemaker.”

“I have a chronic illness.” “I’ve gone to the hospital numerous times since one of my dogs started sniffing and paying attention to a bodily portion and signaling something’s wrong,” another commented. “Dogs are really heroes!”

We’re very relieved that this baby is now safe, due to the fast thinking of this brave dog! Henry, you’re a good boy!
