Dog passes away right after fighting with venomous snakes to protect owner!
Seeing a poisonous snake crawling into the family dining room, the dog Chiko bravely protected everyone and died from the snake’s venom.
On May 17, Alice Minggu (living in Malaysia) shared on her personal page a touching story about the family dog.
Specifically, on May 16, a snake suddenly appeared in the dining room of the Minggu family in Bintulu, Sarawak. Realizing the danger, the dog Chiko quickly rushed to fight to protect the owner.
After a long struggle, Chiko finished the snake with multiple bites. However, the dog was injured and could not survive due to the venom. He crawled to the side of the family car to take his last breath.
Chiko died after protecting her owner’s family from poisonous snakes.”Even though it’s just a local breed, or people call it ferocious, Chiko bravely saved my family’s life,” Minggu wrote.
Chiko has lived with the Minggu family for 6 years and is a obedient, loyal dog. After her death, Chiko was buried by her owner in the garden near her home. Minggu describes it as a sad day for her family as she suffered a great loss.
Minggu’s post on his personal page quickly touched many netizens, attracting more than 10,000 interactions and nearly 6,000 shares. Many people sent condolences to the Minggu family and praised the brave dog.
“You are always the best dog to my family. You will always be in everyone’s hearts, goodbye and rest until we meet again in a better place,” Minggu wrote.

In Florida (USA) last September, a dog named Zeus (like a pitbull) was standing next to two Richardson boys when he saw a coral snake appear. It immediately ran to fight, protecting the two young masters.
Protecting his owner, Zeus was bitten again by a snake 4 times and died the next day, although his family quickly took him to a veterinary hospital.
